Very good atmoshpere. Young staff that knows english very well. Also, the sraff realy helped us with planing what to do.
Breakfast is very poor and not best served. We wouldnt call it breakfast. The hotel have some problem with charging credit (like most places in the region). Another thing that bothered us is amount of noise that the hotel has in the morning (cleaning ladies), hard to sleep after 7:30...

The location was pretty good, only a few blocks from the main street (easy walking distance). The Internet connection was also good. The staff members were ok, a bit overfamiliar.
This was half a youth hostel or a backpacker place, half a 2-star hotel, a very strange combination. This should be specified on the website. There was no place in the room to put clothes and no telephone. On the other hand, there was a sink in the room, with a bar-like bench and a high chair, an imitation of a kitchen benchtop? The breakfast was very basic, suitable for a youth hostel. I did not feel comfortable.

Fantastic helpful happy staff ... good vibe.
Other guests can be a bit noisy as 80% clientele are younger bakcpackers.

Very clean room with comfortable bedding and a very nice shower. The service and location is good as well. The breakfast is quite minimal- according to argentinian standards.

Excellent friendly staff, comfortable bed and great shower! Good vibe and very affordable and great location.
The stairs are a bit noisy with people trudging up and down them... shoudl put a sign up to ask people to try and ´walk quietly´.

we had 2 reservations.on the second time the hotel didnt keep the room for us. despite booking it 6 months before and they confirmed it. they wanted to give us another hotel far away from the center. after an argument they found us a room in the hotel. this event must not happened .. another event was when we came to pay the bill they asked for higher rate of the pesos than the official rate. it was the only time during our vacation in all argentina that the hotel didnt respect the official rate of the dollar.

Hotel staff was really helpfull starting from great recommendations for dinner in the city and excursions up to arrangeing the bus tickets to the next destinations.
Walls are really thin, therefore a little bit too noisy.

For this price you can hardly get anything better in Calafate, if you are looking for a clean room with own bathroom. Moreover, the staff was very nice and helpful with organizing the daytrips, plus there was a possibility to get dinner (asada or pizza) directly in the hotel at a very good price/quality ratio. The hotel is fairly new and so are its facilities, the location is very central and convenient.
The walls between the rooms were quite thin obviously, as one could hear pretty much every noise from the neighboring rooms.

Simple hostel with private rooms for those who want one. Rooms are basic with a kitchenette and good bathroom with great shower. Breakfast is not very good though, very hostel like with toasted bread and cereals but that was as expected. Staff is friendly and easy going. Location is great: in the middle of the centre of Calafete and close to main street, taxi service and ATM.
Breakfast too basic for price of the room - we found the price too high for standard of the room but the location is good.

Very nice and comfortable hostel/hotel with very friendly staff that showed the room first before doing the check-in procedure. They also gave advices which trips to book to explore the Glacier National Park. Breakfast was included and good. It was like coming home.

This hotel has an ideal location being only 2 or 3 blocks away from the main street, yet far enough away to be in a quiet street, also very near to a nature reserve well worth visiting. Provides good services to backpackers and also those who want private rooms with en suite facilities. Desk staff will book and advise on trips if you wish. Staff are young and enthusiastic and very knowledgeable of the area. Good value for money with breakfast included with the price. Evening meals (all you can eat at a fixed price) are amazing value. Bar prices are also lower than the expensive bars and restaurants of the main street.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Very noisy. It is really a youth hostel/hang out. Lots of young people playing pool into the early mornings.......which would be ok if the rooms were more isolated from the bar/pool hall. Needs to be honest in its marketing. It is not really a hotel. If you are 20 and can function on no sleep, this is the place for you. Otherwise, bring earplugs.
